Events Promoter Andrew Mukasa also known as Bajjo has asked Buganda Road Magistrates Court to dismiss charges against him of inciting violence and offensive communication.

Bajjo asked court to dismiss the cases because he says court isn’t producing the witness that they said.

However, the Presiding Magistrate said she will forward it to the trial Magistrate Stella Maris Amabilis when she returns.

Bajjo’s lawyer, Shamim Malende also asked court to dismiss the charges because the trial Magistrate in November had threatened to do the same if prosecution failed to turn up with a witness.

In June 2019, prosecution alledges Bajjo for inciting violence at various places in Masaka, Kampala and Banda against the person of the President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. It further says that in those areas, thru disturbed through peace and privacy of the President.

Prosecution further alledges that Bajjo recorded a video using his phone and posted it on social media saying that he wanted to overthrow the legitimate government of Uganda before 2021 elections.
