According to Lydia Tebekkanya from Plan International said that ,Ugandans should end violence against the girls in schools most especially those who are affected by street harassment of men who use abusive languages on  them .
over 1000 girls living with there step parents are abused sexually in schools and places they live in Lydia also said that they are calling up the government of Uganda to put in more efforts in funding and promoting the rights of women and girls in Uganda .
Harassment conduct can take many forms, such as:
- Offensive pictures
- Epithets or slurs
- Name calling
- Teasing
- Sexual jokes
- Sexual conversations
- Gross generalizations
- Sexual gestures
- Sexual touching
